Napo Wildlife Center
The only accommodation within Yasuní National Park is the well-appointed Napo Wildlife Center. This award-winning jungle lodge located at the edge of the Añangu Lake was built by the local Kichwa Añangu Community, and not only showcases their exceptional, vibrant culture, but is also a paradise for nature enthusiasts, including birders. With several canopy towers (130+ feet high), an Interpretative Cultural Center, a superb network of trails, and the lake and its connecting waterways, this offering provides amazing birding and wildlife-watching, both on foot and by canoe. The mission of the Kichwa Añangu Community and the goal for the NWC is to generate environmental awareness and to maintain sustainable development in this uniquely biodiverse ecological treasure. We are proud to offer this conservation tour to Amazonian Ecuador in partnership with the NWC, and the Kichwa Añangu Community.
